We are looking for apassionate and results-driven Marketing Director to lead our marketing team, with astrong focus on cross-functional collaboration, innovative content development, anddata-driven strategies to drive game and business success.Role OverviewThe Marketing Director will be responsible for leading the development and execution ofstrategic marketing plans across various channels, including creative services, gamedevelopment, paid media, PR, and more. This individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with game development and operational goals,oversee project and department budgets, and maintain a pulse on industry trends tostay ahead of the competition.Key ResponsibilitiesMarketing Strategy and Execution● Savvy in digital marketing experience, with a strong understanding of paid media,SEO/SEM, social campaigns, and emerging digital platforms.● Sensitive to data analytics, able to identify key insights, monitor KPIs, andtranslate metrics into actionable plans.● Able to strategize from data analysis, using player behavior, campaign results,and trend data to optimize marketing performance.● Experience in creative content creation, ensuring engaging, high-quality visualand written materials across all marketing channels.● Develop comprehensive marketing strategies tailored to the target audience andmarket trends, covering areas such as advertising, brand promotion, and contentmarketing.● Collaborate closely with product and operations teams to formulate ad strategiesthat adapt throughout the game lifecycle, leveraging market feedback tocontinually optimize performance.● Cross-Department Collaboration and Communication● Work in partnership with product, operations, creative design, and data analysisteams to ensure marketing strategies align with development and operationalobjectives.● Provide regular updates to senior management, sharing ad performance insightsand strategic recommendations aimed at increasing Snail Games' globalfootprint.Content Development and Strategy● Lead the team in the creation and execution of content strategies, including theproduction of game trailers, social media assets, Steam videos, and othermarketing collateral.● Identify innovative creative opportunities and partnerships to enhance marketingefforts, while overseeing the project management of these initiatives withdevelopers, publishers, and marketing contractors.Budget Planning and Financial Oversight● Spearhead department and project budget planning processes, recommendingpaid media spend necessary to meet game and company objectives.● Oversee campaign pacing and budget alignment, collaborating with activationand regional teams to ensure media plans reflect approved budgets.Campaign Management and Optimization● Direct the marketing team in the planning, execution, and oversight of marketingcampaigns, guaranteeing alignment with the overall marketing strategy andgoals.● Monitor industry trends in gaming, social media, and digital marketing, adaptingstrategies to stay current and competitive.● Utilize a structured framework to brief activation and analytics teams on tacticalplans, ensuring media plans align with strategic objectives.● Track campaign performance and provide detailed reporting to stakeholders,identifying potential risks and proposing solutions.● Communication and Cross-Functional Leadership● Act as the primary point of contact for all marketing project-relatedcommunication, ensuring clear and effective communication across teams(creative, development, PR, operations, legal, etc.) and facilitating smoothcollaboration with Chinese partners.Qualifications● Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; Master’s degreepreferred.● Proven experience (7+ years) in marketing roles within the gaming orentertainment industries.● Demonstrated expertise in leading marketing campaigns across variouschannels, including digital, social, and paid media.● Strong project management skills with experience overseeing budgets andtimelines.● Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills.● In-depth knowledge of current trends in gaming and digital marketing.● Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin is a plus, given our globalpartnerships.CompensationSalary: $140,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.Benefits● Health Insurance: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans.● Retirement Plans: 401(k) with company contributions.● Paid Time Off: Generous PTO policy including vacation days, sick leave, andpaid holidays.Professional Development: Access to training, workshops, and conferences to enhancetechnical skills and industry knowledgeAdditional InformationAs part of the Company’s activities in video game development, publishing, and short-form video content creation, certain projects, discussions, or creative materials may include themes, visuals, language, or subject matter that some individuals could find mature, violent, sexual, graphic, or otherwise sensitive in nature (collectively referred to as “Mature Content”).
