Job Description:

The Marketing Coordinator provides day-to-day marketing coordination and administrative support to ensure campaigns, product communications, events, and customer activities run smoothly. This role partners closely with Senior Marketing Specialists, Product Managers, and the Marketing Manager by executing defined tasks, coordinating logistics, and maintaining marketing assets.


This is an entry-level role ideal for someone beginning a career in B2B marketing who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn how marketing supports product launches and sales enablement.
 

How you will Make an Impact:

Content & Communication Support

  • Review and approve social media posts for accuracy, formatting, and brand alignment prior to publishing.
  • Write, review, and submit content for internal communications, including ITW News newsletter submissions related to new products, updates, and changes.
  • Review and approve content for end-user facing newsletters, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment with product marketing objectives before distribution.
  • Review basic performance metrics for end-user newsletters, summarize trends and observations to support future content planning.
  • Assist in coordinating interviews with subject matter experts for website articles and articles for publication in trade journals.
  • Support basic content updates and revisions as directed by marketing team members.

Travel as needed to support video and photography asset capture, customer visits, and select trade shows. Up to 20% travel.

Coordination of Customer & Internal Activities

  • Coordinate customer visits by gathering necessary details from the sales representative and aligning necessary internal resources to ensure a successful meeting.
  • Serve as the point of contact for logistics related to customer visits, plant tours, food and refreshment needs and demonstrations.

Trade Show & Event Coordination

  • Own and maintain the RACI chart for trade shows and events, ensuring that all tasks are tracked, deadlines are met.
  • Work with Sr. Marketing Specialists, product managers, and central marketing events team to ensure all are aligned.

Asset Maintenance

  • Manage and coordinate spec sheet updates across all product managers, ensuring accuracy, version control, and timely distribution.
  • Support website and digital asset updates as needed.

Project and Administrative Support

  • Manage an analytics dashboard to help the team understand marketing impact of activities.
  • Track tasks, deadlines, and approvals for ongoing marketing activities.
  • Assist with project coordination across marketing initiatives to support on-time execution.
  • Escalate issues, gaps, or delays to Senior Marketing Specialists or the Marketing Manager as appropriate.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field (or equivalent internship / early-career experience).
  • 0–2 years of experience in a marketing, communications, or coordination role.
  • Strong written communication and editing skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (up to 20%) to support events or customer visits.

This role provides foundational exposure to B2B marketing operations, product communications, and event coordination. The Marketing Coordinator role is designed as a developmental position with growth opportunities into a Marketing Specialist role based on performance, skill development, and business needs.
