Market HR Partner (term contract)
Purpose of the Role:
The Market HR Partner provides local HR expertise and hands-on support within the market, ensuring alignment with global and regional HR strategies, local labour legislation, and internal policies.
The role is focused on ensuring consistent and reliable HR execution in a dynamic business environment, with particular emphasis on employee relations, organisational changes, and day-to-day HR delivery.
The role acts as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, contributing to a consistent, compliant, and engaging employee experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day HR partnership and guidance to managers and employees on people-related matters.
Support the implementation of global and regional HR strategies, programs, and initiatives at local level.
Ensure compliance with local labor laws, employment regulations, and internal HR policies.
Manage employee relations cases, including disciplinary actions, grievances, and conflict resolution, escalating as appropriate.
Support talent management processes such as performance management, engagement, retention, and career development.
Contribute to the onboarding and induction of new employees and conduct exit interviews.
Prepare regular and ad-hoc HR reports and analyses to support data-driven decision-making.
Maintain accurate employee data and execute HR system updates in Workday.
Support change management initiatives and internal communication activities.
Promote a positive, inclusive, and ethical workplace culture aligned with company values.
Key Interfaces:
Local Managers and employees
Regional and global HR teams (e.g. Recruitment, HR Services, C&B, Learning)
Finance and other internal support functions
Requirements:
University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in HR, as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist role
Proven hands-on experience in employee relations and case management
Strong knowledge of local labor law and HR best practices.
Fluency in written and spoken English.
Very good proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and HR information systems (Workday preferred).
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment with changing priorities.
High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
