Marine Network Senior Engineer
The Marine Network Senior Engineer shall have extensive industry experience on all technical matters around submarine cable operations and maintenance, with a minimum of 5 years in the submarine cable industry. The role shall be considered a subject matter expert in various aspects of O&M, including leading and making sound decisions in difficult and complex situations, providing recommendations on effective cable protection solutions, and pursuing cable damage claims. The incumbent shall have previously demonstrated an ability to challenge and overrule System Suppliers on complex matters.
Requirements
- Appropriate Technical Certification and/or Engineering qualifications
- Established experience with marine operations and maintenance
- Ability to meet physical and functional certification for Telstra onboard ship representation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Outstanding communication skills and, can collaborate and influence
