Manufacturing Supervisor 2nd shift
Duties/Responsibilities

Oversee all departmental activities and carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and procedures and applicable laws.

Effectively drive continuous and quality related improvements.

Actively engage in project management responsibilities and support a wide range of production group projects.

Resolve employee issues, ensure positive employee relations and promote and enforce all company policies fairly and consistently.

Analyze and solve problems or assist other team members in finding solutions.

Reviews production schedules, material and manpower resources and coordinates daily production activities in order to meet business objectives.

Informs assigned employees of production and material problems and coordinates with support groups to resolve problems affecting schedules.

Responsible for achievement of department goals and standards.

Develops and maintains positive employee relations within the guidelines of company policies.

Direct efforts toward the reduction of process variation while ensuring that manufactured products meet quality requirements.

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Collaborate with cross functional teams on projects, resolving issues and improving processes
Education and Experience
-
Minimum Required
-
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent or 3-5 years in an assembly manufacturing environment.
-
Ability to manage, train and develop employees.
-
Ability to resolve conflicts, meet deadlines, manage production activities and effectively multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
-
Proven experience making day to day decisions that affect the overall quality of products and processes.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

1 – 2 years of experience in a supervisor role
