Manufacturing Engineering Intern

Our Beltsville, MD manufacturing facility is home to 400+ passionate and creative team members. Our products power hundreds of military and commercial aircraft platforms with a focus on improved reliability, weight reduction and fuel efficiency. Components & products developed at our location are used for the Mar's Rover, protecting the Declaration of Independence, and keeping passengers cool and safe as they travel to their favorite vacation destinations. Actively enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in engineering at an accredited institution. Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future. Relocation is not provided for this role, the candidate must be located within 50 miles of Beltsville, MD. Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher. This position requires the use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Preferred Qualifications Actively enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in aerospace or mechanical engineering at an accredited institution. One or more relevant internships or co-op experiences Experience in manufacturing. Experience with Continuous Improvement projects. Experience with Microsoft Office, CAD software Demonstrated leadership experience within campus and/or community. Ability to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions. Ability to prioritize and make decisions considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.
