From day one, you’ll work alongside experienced engineers and skilled manufacturing professionals, learning practical skills in a real workshop environment while also attending college through block-release training.
Job Description
What you’ll do:
During your four-year apprenticeship, you’ll develop core manufacturing skills, including:
Hand fitting
Mechanical assembly
Manual milling and turning
Measurement and inspection
Electrical wiring and connection
You’ll also build knowledge in key areas such as health and safety, CAD, mechanical maintenance, quality control and engineering materials.
What we’re looking for:
We’re looking for people who are curious, motivated and ready to learn. You should have, or be expecting to achieve, 5 GCSE passes including Maths, English and a science or technology-based subject.
We’d also like to see:
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
A genuine interest in manufacturing and engineering
Good communication and teamwork skills
Good organisation and problem-solving
