- Analyze customer needs and technical requirements to design, develop, and deliver the correct technical solutions to support sales team and enhance win rates.
- Evaluate scope definition and conduct URS study, cost calculations, efficiency calculations to meet customer requirements for Vertifcal form-fill-seal, Horizontal form-fill-seal and secondary packaging machines.
- Prepare optimized technical scopes, layouts, costing sheets, PPC pricing, and BOMs in line with RFQs. Assess technical completeness of solution and develop mitigation plans.
- Discuss and evaluate technical solutions with third party vendors including budgetary quotes based on project requirements and handover and coordinate with Sourcing for price finalization
- Support the sales team with technical inputs, layouts, presentations, and performance parameters for customer requirements
- Lead the coordination of product & film trials to validate performance before solutions are quoted to the customer. Escalate to Engineering when existing platforms cannot meet customer needs.
- Work collaboratively with CFT like Engineering, Project Management, Manufacturing, Sales, Quality, as well as offsite teams at other locations to ensure smooth handover of customer projects
- Conduct Quality Gate review including risk assessments, order information release, timeline alignment and handover of the project to the Project Manager
- Prepare and deliver customer-facing documentation including sales manuals, layouts, and technical presentations. Engage directly with customers on request of sales team as required
- Ensure compliance with ISO-defined work processes and proactively participate in internal reviews to identify and implement process improvements
- B.E. / Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronics or Electronics & Electrical (E&E)
- 10 - 12 years of experience in the technical domain of packaging machinery, specifically horizontal form-fill-seal and secondary packaging solutions
- Exposure to technical sales support, solution engineering, and customer-facing technical discussions
- Strong understanding of packaging machinery, material handling equipment, printers, and packaging materials
- Knowledge of Project costing, Performance calculations , commercial pricing, and project risk assessment
- Proficiency in SAP, MS Office, Power BI, and familiarity with ERP-supported technical processes
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams and international interfaces
- Process-oriented mindset with familiarity in sales and manufacturing workflows
