Manager - Technology Field
▪ Formulates the strategy and roadmap for a specific Operations Technology (OT) Field in order to best support mid-/long-term goals of AUMOVIO China
▪ Identifies for his Technology Field common and/or high priority technologies and processes via "Technology Cluster Expert Community Structures" (each Cluster community being formed out of participants from various China plants)
▪ Proactively seek market sources for forward-looking technologies and advanced equipment
▪ Evaluate, audit, and benchmark the technical capabilities of potential suppliers to provide key inputs for NPM PE procurement decisions
▪ Establish a supplier technical capability database and continuously conduct technical benchmark management
▪ Lead the process of China supplier qualification verification, supplier release in China SSL.
▪ Establish and optimize the supplier management systematicallly to ensure supply chain stability and cost advantages.
▪ Support commercial purchasing strategy from technical side
▪ Responsible for yearly budgeting & cost controlling of the Technology Field activities
▪ Defines and tracks Technology Field KPI (in line with China TECHnet KPI)
▪ Organizes and leads a cross-Plant Technology Field community, with a Technology Field consisting out of 3-8 cross-Plant Technology Cluster Communities
▪ Ensures proper representation and active participation for the Technology Field in local and global gremiums (Global TECHnet etc)
▪ For the Technology Field the brigde function between Global A OT, TECHnet and Aumovio China (Plants, IE)
Work location: Shanghai/Changchun/Wuhu Plant
- Knowledge of existing Operations Technologies and Standards: Production technology, processes and test/inspection steps knowledge (SMT, Testing, automation, FA)
-Understands operations standard manufacturing concept/ standard modules/ equipments/ lines
- Knows existing processes and rules and internal escalation and decision-making structures
- Knows the methods, tools and contact persons for managing projects in operations
- Knows existing processes and requirements from customers
- Can estimate impact of changes in requirements on time, cost and technical functions within operations.
- Supports the implementation of changes following rules and keeping stakeholders up to date
-Min. 5 years experience in Production/ IE area
-Min. 3 years international teamwork experience
-Project Mgmt., Change Mgmt. and Problem Resolution Management
-Several years experience in leading projects in Operations/IE
-Networking with other function locations and technical communities.
-Solid English for international interaction.
