Job Description

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

· Strategic Sourcing and Category Planning. Develops sourcing strategies for $250MM of Cartons packaging to include overall market, industry and supply base analysis, category and supplier segmentation, sourcing activity facilitation, analysis, negotiations, contracting and implementation.

· Support for Departmental Sourcing Processes. Provides spend and market analysis for additional departmental categories outside of individual scope but within department scope. Benchmarks relevant market data to ensure continuous process improvement.

· Business and Stakeholder Alignment. Will act as a key stakeholder to the business, while representing packaging procurement’s position.

· Project Management. Engages in productivity, cash flow and innovation projects for assigned categories that may be driven by procurement, the Business Unit or another functional area with a focus on overall Total Cost of Ownership.

· Supplier Integration/Supplier Relationship Management (SRM). Works closely with key preferred and integrated suppliers for respective category areas. This may include active participation in E2E opportunity assessment work for targeted integrated suppliers, and subsequent project work that may result in areas of innovation, process improvement or cash flow.

· Buying Oversight & Transactional Category Activities. Manages transactional activities for identified categories to include entry and management of projects into 4Site, preparing Bid Waiver, and Bid Record documents to obtain sourcing approvals, specifications, and pricing.

· Financial Planning and Analysis. Prepares market forecasts and financial plans for respective category areas.

Key Experiences

· Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.

· 3+ years’ experience in Procurement and/or general supply chain within a large matrixed organization, CPG preferred. Must have experience in strategic sourcing, negotiating, and contracting. Prefer candidates with Packaging category experience.

Work Environment & Schedule

This position is considered a Normal office environment with limited travel or visits to external locations; offices are open workspace

New Hire Base Salary Range:

$104,200.00 - $130,200.00

Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.

The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
