Manager of Instructional Design
Under the direction of the Director of Instructional Design, the Manager of Instructional Design leads a small team of instructional designers through the design, creation, and implementation of Crumbl’s digital training. This is a key strategic role on Crumbl’s Training team that works cross-functionally with other Operations teams to ensure smooth rollouts, training, and transitions for our franchises across the country.
Under the direction of the Director of Instructional Design, the Manager of Instructional Design leads a small team of instructional designers through the design, creation, and implementation of Crumbl’s digital training. This is a key strategic role on Crumbl’s Training team that works cross-functionally with other Operations teams to ensure smooth rollouts, training, and transitions for our franchises across the country.
Responsibilities
Develops and designs course curriculum for Crumbl’s franchisees on a wide range of topics from financial literacy and marketing all the way down to the tactical skills like dessert preparation, quality, and customer experience
Strategizes with the Director of Instructional Design on instruction manuals, rubrics, and other teaching tools, including Digital Training (core kitchen training) and weekly recipe content
Collaborates with subject matter experts across the company to standardize operations and develop training content
Lead the Instructional Design team to create learning experiences and materials to support Crumbl’s current and future operations
Strategizes with the Certified Training Stores Specialist on the design of in-store training and quality control from participating Franchise Partner instructors
Ensures that information communicated to Franchise Partners is aligned with training materials
Qualifications
BS, MS, or higher degree in education, communication, instruction design, or an administrative field
Proficient with learning management systems (LMS) and curriculum management
Excellent communication skills including the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical colleagues and clients
Critical thinking, creative problem solving, and decision making experience
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple teams and projects
Ability to direct employees/team members effectively
Open to constant feedback
Highly organized and self-motivated
Valid driver's license
Ability to pass a background check
Must be located in Utah - or willing to relocate permanently
