Manager, New Business
Position Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive KYC (e.g. PEP, caution list) and CDD for High-Net-Worth client on-boarding process, as well as periodic CDD reviews for existing clients according company's standard.
- Perform risk assessment for individual new business applications in accordance with the company’s underwriting guidelines, risk appetite and service pledge
- Daily operations and ad-hoc project as assigned
- Compliance with external and internal policies
- Monitor daily task volumes and identify improvement opportunities to enhance the overall customer experience throughout new business application journey and operational efficiency
- Work closely with distribution channels to facilitate the underwriting services
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in business administration, finance, or a related field
- Relevant experience in CDD/KYC/AML Compliance in banking or financial institutions
- Knowledge of insurance operations procedures, insurance products, and customer requirements would be an advantage.
- Strong customer orientation mindset with good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, work independent, multi-tasking, open-minded, a good team player, customer service skills
- Good time management skills and the ability to prioritize and work to tight timeframes
