We also help merchants connect with their customers, process exchanges and returns, and manage risk. We enable consumers to engage in cross-border shopping and merchants to extend their global reach while reducing the complexity and friction involved in enabling cross-border trade.

Job Summary:
• The candidate will drive the strategy and execution of programs to drive our offline product in DE through presence / signage at in store merchants, including both PPDC and PL2Go• Part of this will require the development of partnerships with players in the in store space that can help drive product adoption – ie, processors / acquirers of small and large merchants, software developing companies, merchant associations, etc.
• As a second aspect of this role, the candidate will also work with our internal teams (sales, Zettle, etc) to drive programs through their merchants, for example by designing incentives for merchants to drive consumer adoption of our instore products.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Drive revenue growth and global market expansion by identifying and cultivating strategic partnerships, channels, and opportunities
- Lead the negotiation with external partners and engage cross-functional support colleagues to ensure the successful delivery of solutions for large complex partnerships.
- Shape long-term commercial strategy by assessing market dynamics, competitive positioning, and partnership performance to prioritize high-impact growth opportunities.
- Establish scalable partnership frameworks and operating models that streamline execution, enhance collaboration across teams, and ensure consistent delivery of partner value.
- Align product and business levers (such as pricing and FX) to maximize revenue and market expansion opportunities.
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Design, and Research teams to translate business priorities into scalable solutions — ensuring the technical design and implementation align with growth, commercial, and customer experience objectives
- Represent the end customer on an ongoing basis and use this knowledge to drive effective prioritization and decision-making.
- Collaborate and influence product outcomes in a matrix organization with multiple stakeholders such as Engineering, Operations, Risk, Legal, Sales, Business Development, Marketing, Finance, and Banking Partners.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Requirements:
• Experience in tackling a sector, understanding it, networking through it and developing relationships, with a focus on trial and error and the ability to adapt until the right program is developed
• Someone entrepreneurial, who can iterate on multiple partnerships / experiments, and find the deal that’s possible. The candidate should be able to define, negotiate and close the partnerships based on what works for us & the partner, and what drives adoption of our consumer products – with a foucs on offline.
• Biz dev and program management experience – can work from strategy through execution
• Big thinker who can set ambitious goals and create action plans to make them a reality
• Resourceful, able to work with minimum guidance, in an entrepreneurial way
• Sales / business development experience preferred
• Can work through our matrix, and influence the way into introductions, meetings, etc.
• A passion for the payments space, and for driving a change in the way Germans pay offline
• Fluent in German and English
