What you will do:
The Human Resources Manager leads all HR functions for a fast‑paced manufacturing environment, ensuring the workforce, culture, and organizational processes support operational excellence. This role partners closely with plant leadership to drive talent strategy, employee engagement, compliance, and continuous improvement across the York, Pennsylvania facility.
How you will do it:
Partner with functional leaders in areas such as organizational effectiveness, succession planning, organizational structure, workforce planning, and change management to strengthen overall organizational capability, employee retention and engagement.
Ensure alignment of HR processes i.e. talent reviews, performance management, compensation, routine management, talent acquisition, employee engagement, and talent development.
Drive employee engagement and satisfaction through promotion of a positive company culture and supporting practices. Interpret employee engagement data for assigned client groups.
Consult with leaders in client groups to develop related action plans.
Build people manager capability and strengthen organizational effectiveness through performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, and regional engagement initiatives that span key employee lifecycle programs.
Lead with an employee-first mindset to design and implement programs that attract, engage, and retain talent while supporting organizational commitments and business goals.
Partner with Operations leadership on workforce planning, staffing models, shift structures, and labor cost management to support manufacturing readiness and business continuity.
Lead internal communication strategies that enable people managers, support organizational change, and improve transparency and connection across the Americas.
What we look for:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
Minimum 5+ years of experience in HR generalist and/or support roles for HR Generalist, with strong knowledge of Employee/Labor relations.
Must have solid human resources generalist skills, especially in the areas of talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations and, where applicable, labor law and labor relations.
Must be able to quickly gain trust and build relationships.
Demonstrated success at influencing and coaching employees and business leaders is required. Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and oral/written communication skills are essential. Also important is the ability to juggle multiple and competing priorities.
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $100,000 - $133,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.) This role offers a competitive Bonus plan that will take into account individual, group, and corporate performance. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role.
