Why This Role Matters

The Manager, Governance & Enablement (Digital, Data & Technology) plays a critical role in ensuring how we plan, fund, govern, and deliver DD&T work reflects the same rigor, integrity, and accountability applied to our physical assets. This is an ideal opportunity for a developing leader with a strong foundation in project delivery, financial stewardship, and stakeholder engagement who is ready to grow their enterprise influence and leadership impact.

What You’ll Do

You will act as the enterprise steward for DD&T governance and enablement—helping the organization make better decisions, manage risk, and deliver value with clarity and confidence.

Your work will ensure DD&T capabilities are:

  • Predictable, resilient, and well managed
  • Financially transparent and well-controlled
  • Aligned to enterprise priorities and long-term strategy
  • Delivered with integrity, accountability, and trust

Key Responsibilities

DD&T Governance

  • Support the design and operation of DD&T governance processes that enable timely, informed decision-making
  • Help clarify decision rights, escalation paths, and accountability
  • Maintain policies, standards, and governance forums that promote enterprise alignment and transparency

Project Portfolio & Delivery Enablement

  • Support portfolio governance across digital initiatives, data and analytics products, platforms, and core technology investments
  • Enable enterprise prioritization, sequencing, and dependency visibility
  • Provide portfolio-level insights and reporting that support leadership decisions and capital discipline

Financial Stewardship of DD&T

  • Support DD&T financial management practices, including budgeting, forecasting, and investment planning
  • Partner with Finance on capital vs. expense governance and monthly reporting
  • Help articulate how DD&T spend translates into business and operational value

ITSM – Service Management & Operational Health

  • Support service management practices for core technology services, digital platforms, and data services
  • Help establish measurable, transparent service health indicators
  • Promote operational discipline that reduces risk and supports frontline operations

Architecture & Standards Governance

  • Support the governance of solution architecture and platform standards
  • Ensure solutions align to security, resilience, and long-term maintainability expectations
  • Help reduce unnecessary complexity and technical debt through standards and guardrails

Risk, CSOX & Audit Enablement

  • Support DD&T CSOX controls and audit readiness
  • Partner with Finance and Internal Audit to embed controls into modern delivery models
  • Assist with control remediation and continuous improvement efforts

Who We’re Looking For

This role is well suited to someone early in their people leadership journey who brings strong execution capability, sound judgment, and a collaborative mindset.

What You Bring

  • A project or program management background, with experience governing scope, timelines, dependencies, and risk
  • A financial stewardship mindset, including comfort with budgets, forecasts, variance analysis, and investment trade-offs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex topics for different audiences
  • The ability to work upward with executives, across peer teams, and with delivery teams, without relying on formal authority
  • A thoughtful, pragmatic approach to governance—focused on enablement, not bureaucracy
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and helping bring structure, clarity, and discipline

What Will Help You Succeed

  • Curiosity about how digital, data, and technology enable industrial operations
  • A strong sense of integrity, accountability, and follow-through
  • Confidence to ask good questions and escalate risks early
  • A desire to grow as a leader in an enterprise environment

What You Get

  • Play a visible role in shaping how DD&T delivers value at an enterprise level
