Role Overview The Manager, Go-to-Market, Retail & Ecommerce, Laser, manages the planning and execution of go-to-market strategies across assigned product categories, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and market performance goals. This role assists in developing category and channel plans that drive profitability and growth through data analysis, customer insights, and effective cross-functional coordination. The Manager contributes to key aspects of the product lifecycle, from development through end of life, by supporting promotional planning, marketing execution, and performance tracking. Drawing on an understanding of customer needs, market trends, and competitive dynamics, this position helps ensure consistent category positioning, strong go-to-market execution, and achievement of financial and operational objectives. Duties & Responsibilities Category Planning and Management Provide support on product marketing decisions - advertising/promotions/product changes/development/pricing/retail execution and other initiatives Manages full lifecycle of product - development, maintaining performance, and end of life Sets promotional plans in line with category objectives and performance Collaborates with leadership to ensure category profitability in short and long-term using a larger set of KPIs Accountable to category/product positioning being consistent with strategy and collaborates frequently with marketing communications teams Category + Channel Strategy Development Focuses efforts on target customer personas, seeks needs/wants, and helps design meaningful value propositions Ensures channel specific strategies are developed and executed with sales Accountable to sales targets, month end results, and expense management execution with supporting groups Assists and coordinates account product and strategy presentations as needed Help set go to market strategy and is leading marketing execution to drive success Collaborate and coordinate key market research projects to improve customer insight usage and execution Category Analytics and Reporting Manage promotional expense budget and execution consistent with category and divisional objectives Regularly monitors competitive environment, volumes, and market trends to use in decision making Marketing Mix Execution Set channel margin guidelines and ensures consistent pricing Assist with development of a successful retail lineup strategy and partners with sales on pitches, execution, while monitoring progress Make recommendations and assists with approval of in-store and online merchandising materials Accountable to divisional forecasts and ensures proper marketing mix and category/channel/account trends are accounted for properly with Prod Ops teams Experience & Qualifications Education Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience)Business, Marketing, or related field preferred Experience Minimum 7 years Experience in Product Marketing management, brand management, or category leadership Minimum 3 years Experience in consumer electronic or consumer goods industry; Experience & proven track record of growing business within large accounts (Retail, Online & Consumer Electronics accounts) Software/Technical Skills Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Knowledge of Tableau Other Skills/Knowledge/Abilities Ability to create and present strong sales and marketing strategy presentations, with an in-depth understanding of sales/marketing principles Ability to work independently & provide effective business-driven recommendations Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, exhibiting a customer-centric focus Ability to drive projects from concept to implementation & post-analysis, leading cross-functional teams on key projects Excellent communication skills (interpersonal, written, verbal) Strong quantitative skills and ability to balance analysis vs. action Problem solving and decision-making skills Creative thinking and ability to innovate Ability to move fast, make recommendations, and execute quickly Desire to learn, grow, and develop self as well as others Additional Details for This Role This role will be a hybrid role. Subject to business needs, employees may work remotely up to two days per week. Assigned office days will be determined by your manager. #LI-Hybrid Base Salary The targeted base salary range for this position is $110,000 - $135,000 year. Base salary is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the successful candidate, as well as factors such as internal equity, cost of labor in the hiring location, and alignment with market data. Additional Compensation This position is eligible for a 15% bonus at 100% of target, with the opportunity to achieve above 100% dependent on company performance and in alignment with company bonus plans. Bonus awards are discretionary and contingent upon individual performance as well as Brother achieving its corporate objectives, in accordance with the applicable bonus plan in effect. About Where We Work Brother’s corporate headquarters for the Americas is in Bridgewater, NJ, across from the Bridgewater Commons Mall. This location houses key corporate functions, including HR, legal, finance, IT, and supply chain, and a significant presence of our business unit leadership and marketing teams. Our manufacturing and distribution facility in Bartlett, TN spans an impressive 1.5 million square feet - equivalent to 26 football fields - and is located on Brother Boulevard. In addition to the distribution center operations team, this facility hosts several other departments, including our customer service group. Brother also has employees based in other locations, such as Westminster, CO, where many of our marketing and product engineering team members from the mobile solutions division operate, as well as our distribution centers in Richmond, VA and Perris, CA. Additionally, our outside sales teams work remotely within their territories, staying geographically close to the accounts they support to ensure they are always “at your side” for our customers.
