Manager, Global Technical Services
Scope of Position:
Zero Motorcycles designs and builds two-wheeled electric vehicles as well as powertrains for customers who integrate our technology into other applications. We are seeking a Manager Global Technical Services, to lead technical publications, regulatory compliance, dealer service systems, and powertrain customer support across our global markets. This role ensures our service network and powertrain clients are equipped with accurate technical documentation, training, and data tools, while maintaining compliance with global regulatory requirements.
The Manager, Global Technical Services, will oversee technical publications, manage global recall activities, administer Salesforce workflows, support analytics, and act as a technical liaison with our powertrain customers. This role reports to Zero’s Vice President of Operational Excellence and collaborates closely with Customer Experience, Engineering, PMO, IT, and external regulatory agencies.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Publications & Training
Manage the Technical Writer responsible for service manuals, owner’s manuals, and technical training documents.
Coordinate creation of dealer training videos and e-learning content.
Leverage Jira for task management, maintaining visibility on progress and deadlines.
Assist with Systems Administration & Data Analytics
Support Salesforce Service Cloud Administration: configure workflows, optimize dealer experience, and safeguard data integrity.
Support Power BI dashboard development, validate Salesforce data, and generate ad hoc reporting for quality investigations.
Use Jira to manage tasks tied to documentation, training, and regulatory compliance.
Regulatory & Compliance
Act as Zero’s primary global liaison with regulatory agencies (NHTSA, Transport Canada, EU regulators, etc.).
Manage the full recall process including decision-making, regulatory filings, remedy documentation, and follow-up tracking.
Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements in all markets.
Customer & Partner Support
Serve as first responder for powertrain client technical issues, coordinating with Quality and Engineering to troubleshoot and resolve.
Partner with clients on new product introductions, ensuring readiness and support.
