Role Summary and Impact 

This is an exceptional opportunity to join our expanding Global Investment Team, working across high-profile clients and contributing directly to our mission of driving client transformation. You will leverage your existing media knowledge and gain hands-on experience in:  

  • Strategic Investment Management: Develop a holistic overview of WPP Media global investment targets, support WPP Media's advanced trading products, and identify holistic media value opportunities at an unprecedented scale.  
  • Digital Partnerships & Innovation: Collaborate with WPP Media global partners. Identify and implement innovative investment solutions and strategies, integrating advanced AI and data-driven insights, to unlock new value for our clients.  
  • Global Engagement: Work with our most significant clients and collaborate seamlessly with colleagues across global markets, spanning Asia, North America, Europe, and LatAm, gaining invaluable international experience.

We are seeking media professionals with experience who are ready to take on more responsibility and deepen their expertise. You’ve laid the foundation- now it’s time to keep building, together! Key skills and areas of focus for this role include:  
  
Advanced Analytical Prowess:  

  • Your existing aptitude for maths and attention to detail will be critical.  
  • You will develop advanced skills in data analysis and data visualisation using industry-leading tools such as Power BI. An interest in code, VBA/macro writing skills, Alteryx or Tableau will be an advantage but not essential.  

  
Enhanced Collaboration & Strategic Relationships:  

  • You will refine your ability to develop and nurture strategic relationships with colleagues across -teams and key external partners, influencing outcomes.  
  • You will actively contribute to a positive environment, fostering team spirit and high-level collaboration on complex projects.  
  • A proactive and friendly approach will help you thrive in our collective, driving solutions with speed.  

  
Problem-Solving & Strategic Thinking:  

  • You will move beyond identifying issues to proactively developing solution-focused approaches, leading conversations to discuss, align, and resolve challenges.  
  • Gain deep exposure to market intelligence, understanding global media markets, media channel evolution, measurement approaches, and trading metrics at a strategic level.  

  
Project Management & Mentorship:  

  • Opportunities to manage and develop more junior team members, ensuring high-quality work and fostering their learning, thereby enhancing your leadership skills.  
  • Ability to prioritise, adapt, and maintain a solutions-focused approach in a demanding, global environment.
