Manager, Global Data Governance

The Manager, Global Data Governance actively work with stakeholders from business domain, understand their requirements and proactively perform descriptive & diagnostic analytics support directly to domain stakeholders to provide insights supporting day-to-day decision making. They will own and deliver analysis of moderate scope and manages assigned tasks on more complex projects.

Position Responsibilities: 

  • Own and support the implementation of Global Data Governance policies, standards, and frameworks across all segments
  • Partner with segment data governance leadership to maintain, update, and evolve policies and standards in response to regulatory and business needs
  • Provide direction and guidance to segment data governance teams on standards adoption, compliance monitoring, and KPI interpretation
  • Monitor data governance metrics and KPIs, including progress tracking, risk identification, and remediation support
  • Prepare and deliver executive-ready updates for senior leadership on governance adoption, gaps, and recommendations

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative, business, management or related disciplines
  • 3+ years of applicable experience in data governance related discipline
  • Strong working knowledge of data governance, data catalogue, and metadata management concepts and tools.
  • Experience supporting initiatives related to AI readiness
  • Strong written and verbal communication skill

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with data visualization and BI tools
  • Ability to write and execute SQL queries to support analysis, validation, or governance reporting
  • Familiarity with AI model building in cloud environment

Salary range is expected to be between

$129,400.00 CAD - $179,400.00 CAD

Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
