Your Opportunity as the Manager Equipment & Services (E&S) – Distribution and Refurbishment

This Site Manager oversees all aspects of the 58,000 sq ft coffee equipment facility (distribution and refurbishment) located in Imperial, PA. You will be the Solar’s site operations leader with responsibility to ensure efficiency, safety, and profitability. This role involves managing staff (3 direct reports), refurbishment processes, maintaining compliance with quality and safety standards, and aligning site performance with the Away from Home’s (AFH) strategic business unit’s objectives.

Work Arrangements: 100% Onsite

 

In this role you will:

 

Refurbishment Operations:

·        Manage daily manufacturing activities to meet production targets and quality standards.

·        Implement process improvements to reduce waste and optimize efficiency.

·        Ensure compliance with safety standards.

·        Prepare and manage labor and indirect material budgets.

·        Lead and develop site personnel through training and performance management.

Distribution Operations:

·        Oversee warehouse operations, inventory control, and order fulfillment.

·        Plan and manage transportation routes and delivery schedules for cost and time efficiency.

·        Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and customers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.

·        Monitor KPIs for distribution performance and implement improvements.

·        Ensure compliance with transportation laws and safety protocols.

Strategic & Cross-Functional:

·        Collaborate with E&S Supply Chain and EISO teams to align refurbishment and distribution with demand.

·        Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma) across both refurbishment and distribution functions.

·        Analyze operational data to optimize resource allocation.

·        Prepare reports for senior management on refurbishment and distribution performance.

What we are looking for:

 

Minimum Requirements:

·        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field

·        7+ years of experience in manufacturing and/or distribution management, with at least 3 years in leadership role

·        Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, logistics, and inventory management systems

·        Excellent leadership, communication, and problem solving skills

 

Additional skills and experience that we think would make someone successful in this role:

·        MBA or Advanced Degree

·        Experience with ERP systems and WMA (warehouse management systems)

·        Professional certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution (CLTD)
