Job Title:Manager - Quality Job location:Tirupur Qualification:B.E/B.Tech Textile Experience: 10 - 12 Years Salary:7L - 9LPA(Negotiable for Right Candidate) Job Description The Quality Manager leads the quality function within organization. He/she sets the vision, goals, and objectives for quality management and align them with the organizational strategy and culture. He/she communicates and promotes the importance and value of quality to all stakeholders. He/she is accountable for the performance and results of the quality function and reports on key quality indicators and metrics. Major Roles & Responsibilities * Demonstrates leadership and creates an inspiring vision of the future. * Motivates and inspires people to engage with that vision. * Manages delivery of the vision. * Coaches and builds a team, so that team is more effective at achieving the vision. * Designing, implementing, and maintaining the quality systems and processes that ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services. * Establish and document the quality standards, procedures, and guidelines that comply with the relevant regulations, industry best practices, and customer expectations. * Plan and conduct the quality audits, inspections and obtain certifications that verify the compliance and effectiveness of the quality systems and processes. * Manage the quality team and resources. He/she recruit, train, coach, and motivate the quality staff and ensure they have the necessary skills, knowledge, and competencies to perform their duties. * Manage and monitor the quality budget, resources, and equipment and ensure they are used efficiently and effectively. * Continuous improvement and innovation of the quality systems and processes, using various tools and methods such as 7 QC tools, Lean, Six Sigma, PDCA, and Kaizen. * Implement and oversee the quality control and assurance activities that detect and prevent defects, errors, and nonconformities in the products and services * Identify, analyse, and resolve the quality issues and risks that may affect the organization's reputation, operations, and profitability. * Handles and resolves the customer/Factory complaints and concerns related to quality. Ensures that the organization follows up and follows through on the issues and remedies. * Support management team with all required data analysis and prepare reports for management presentations, in clear and concise communication methods. * Collaborate with Cross functional team to evaluate and select Suppliers for material, trims and accessories based on quality, reliability and cost effectiveness. * Managing the Supply Base performance with periodic performance Evaluation, Supplier audits. * Establish and strengthen Incoming, in process and Final Product Quality inspections to ensure consistent quality product delivery to market. Job Specification: (Education, Training and Experience) * Graduate/Post Graduate. Qualifications relevant to textile industry and PG in management studies would be a plus. * 15 Plus years Quality Management experience leading Quality functions of reputed organisations. * Broad Quality Systems and process knowledge in Textile /Apparel /FMCGIndustry/Manufacturing/Services Outsourcing. * Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, is required and Experience With SAP/ERP Systems Is Essential. * Knowledge of various Quality system methodologies 8D, Lean, 5 Why’s, Pareto Analysis, Six Sigma, PPAP, APQP, Poka-Yoke (Error Proofing), Process Capability Analysis, Measurement System Analysis is essential. * Project Management Certification, Quality Certifications will be a plus. Competencies / Skills: * Highly developed People management skills, must be able to manage the teams effectively. * Must have strong business knowledge, experience, must abide by strong business ethics and Integrity. * Strong interpersonal skill, collaborative, and Executive presence. * Must possess Conflict resolution, problem solving skills. * Must Possess strong decision making and negotiation skills. * Must be results oriented. * Sound communication skills, both written and verbal, Multilingual. (English, Hindi and Tamil). * Must be able to effectively communicate with Cross functional Teams and across All Levels. * Ability to work on multiple projects with competing deadlines through project management Skills. * Networking and Understanding market dynamics along with business sense. * Must have Good Analytical Skills.
