Maintenance Support Officer

Are you a proactive and detail-orientated Maintenance Support Officer interested in supporting the delivery of maintenance activities across a major transport contract – then we would love to hear from you!

 

The role is fast paced and critical to ensuring maintenance work orders, reports and systems are accurate, compliant and progressing efficiently. You will work closely with Planners, the Stores & Fleet Supervisor and maintenance teams, playing a key role in work order management, reporting. System governance and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support planners and maintenance teams with work order creation, updates and follow up
  • Manage service request and convert them into actionable work orders
  • Administer TAPs and permits, ensuring approval and compliance
  • Perform QA checks on preventative maintenance reporting and raise defects
  • Track work order with outstanding materials and liaise with stores
  • Produce end of month KPI, contractor and performance reports
  • Ensuring accuracy at all times within Maximo and AIMS systems
  • Support continuous improvement and maintenance and reporting processes 


About You
You are organised, analytical and confident working with systems and data. You take ownership of your work, spot issues early and enjoy supporting others to get the job done efficiently.

  • Experience in a maintenance or asset maintenance environment
  • Strong working knowledge of Maximo or similar maintenance management system (preferred)
  • Good Excel skills and confidence working with reports and data
  • High attention to detail and strong time management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with planners, supervisors and stakeholders
  • A proactive, accountable and solutions-focused mindset
  • Must have full working rights in Australia
