Ingredion is looking for a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor, Mechanical to help keep critical equipment running safely and reliably at our Kalasin Plant. Your expertise in maintenance execution, troubleshooting, and team coordination will play an important role in minimizing downtime, improving plant performance, and strengthening a safety-first culture.
As a Maintenance Supervisor, Mechanical, you will lead day-to-day mechanical maintenance execution across preventive, predictive, and corrective activities to support equipment reliability and operational continuity. This role reports to the Maintenance, Reliability & Utility Manager and provides day-to-day supervision, coaching, and technical guidance to maintenance technicians and cross-functional teams.
What you will do:
Oversee mechanical maintenance activities to ensure equipment availability, minimize downtime, and support plant performance targets.
Perform and supervise preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for mechanical systems, while ensuring compliance with safety regulations, engineering standards, and operating procedures.
Troubleshoot recurring mechanical issues, respond to equipment breakdowns, and implement long-term corrective actions to improve reliability.
Coordinate daily maintenance schedules with production teams, monitor equipment performance, and maintain accurate records of work orders, downtime causes, and spare parts usage.
Provide hands-on coaching and technical guidance to maintenance technicians, ensuring effective work allocation, capability development, and discipline in maintenance practices.
Support TPM/WCM activities, especially Autonomous Maintenance (AM) and Planned Maintenance (PM), and participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure availability of critical mechanical spare parts and maintain proper technical documentation, PM checklists, mechanical drawings, and equipment logs.
What you will bring:
Bachelor’s degree or High Vocational Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
3+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance within a food, beverage, or chemical manufacturing plant.
Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and solid understanding of rotating equipment, pumps, conveyors, dryers, and utility systems.
Experience working with TPM/WCM methodologies and a strong commitment to safety and equipment reliability.
Ability to lead and coach maintenance technicians, along with basic English communication skills for reading technical documents.
