Maintenance Planner - 1st shift

Reporting to the Facilities Manager at our Troy, Ohio facility, you will play a critical role in keeping maintenance operations running efficiently and reliably. You will plan and schedule preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and predictive maintenance activities while ensuring every aspect of planned work is prepared in advance. You will analyze equipment reliability data, recommend improvements, and collaborate closely with Production, Engineering, and Maintenance teams to ensure work is executed safely, on time, and with minimal disruption to operations.

A Taste of Your Responsibilities

• Own the functional location structure and equipment list in SAP

• Build and maintain preventive maintenance task lists and plans in SAP

• Review open work requests daily and provide feedback when requests are rejected

• Plan all details of work orders including safety, quality, timing, technical documentation, technician resources, parts, and work instructions

• Conduct field walk‑downs and collaborate with technical experts during the planning process

• Manage the maintenance work order backlog and establish priorities to support operational needs

• Partner with the Maintenance, Repair, and Operations storeroom to ensure parts are kitted and available for planned work

• Follow corporate Maintenance Planning and Scheduling systems and SAP Plant Maintenance standards

• Prepare for and lead weekly planning and scheduling meetings

• Communicate maintenance schedules and high‑priority work orders to Maintenance and Operations teams

• Recommend planned downtime strategies to maximize productivity and minimize disruption

• Coordinate contractor services to support planned maintenance activities when required

• Track and report work management system metrics and recommend process improvements

• Participate in Maintenance and Operations Daily Direction Setting meetings and assist with breakdown analysis as needed

Ingredients Required for Your Success

• High School diploma or GED

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing environment

• Strong knowledge of manufacturing equipment and replacement parts

• Experience working with a computerized maintenance management system; SAP Plant Maintenance preferred

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

• Weekend support when needed

You may be required to walk around the facility, climb stairs/ladders, kneel, or perform repetitive tasks that require hand-eye coordination.

This is a manufacturing environment with large, moving equipment. Noise levels can be high, and temperatures may vary.

Compensation 

Pay Range:$59,000-$78,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
