Mainframe Engineer (Integration & Modernisation)
Role Overview:
Support maintenance, integration, and modernisation of legacy systems and enable interoperability with modern platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain COBOL, PL/I, JCL systems
- Support batch processing and DB2
- Integrate with Java, APIs, cloud
- Perform data migration and transformation
- Support SIT/UAT
- Troubleshoot production issues
Required Skills:
- 5-10 years mainframe experience
- COBOL, JCL, DB2
- Batch and transaction systems
Preferred:
- Java integration
- API enablement
- AWS / GCC exposure
- Modernisation experience
Deliverables:
- Stable legacy systems
- Integration services
- Migration outputs
- Documentation
