• Job Description

  Location: Remote, India | Reports to: Director, Cloud Delivery Platform (US-based)

  Role Overview

  Build and maintain enterprise cloud delivery platforms that enable rapid, secure software deployment across the organization. You will implement platform automation, contribute technical expertise, and work with our global team to create exceptional developer experiences while ensuring scalability and reliability.

  Key Responsibilities

  • Platform Development & Implementation: Build and maintain cloud platform infrastructure using Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, and cloud-native technologies
  • Automation Development: Create CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and deployment workflows that reduce manual effort and deployment errors
  • Integration Engineering: Integrate DataDog monitoring, SonarQube code quality, Snyk security scanning, and other enterprise tools with platform capabilities
  • Technology Evolution Support: Learn and implement new platform technologies and tools as the platform grows and evolves to meet changing organizational requirements
  • Migration Support: Support migration of existing Jenkins and Azure DevOps pipelines to GitHub Actions, ensuring smooth transitions for development teams while increasing productivity and levels of automation
  • Collaborative Development: Work with technical leader, participating in design reviews and implementing technical solutions
  • Quality & Documentation: Maintain high code quality standards using modern development practices, self-documenting code, and effective knowledge sharing practices
  • AI: Comfortable leveraging AI Automation to amplify skills and increasing speed of output

  Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or Software Development
  • Strong hands-on experience with core platform technologies:
    • Infrastructure as Code: Terraform
    • Container Orchestration: Kubernetes and Helm
    • CI/CD: GitHub Actions, plus Jenkins or Azure DevOps experience preferred
    • Cloud Platforms: AWS or Azure, experience with both beneficial
    • Cloud networking fundamentals, secrets management practices, and multi-tenant deployment patterns including network segmentation, secure credential handling, and tenant isolation strategies
  • Proficiency with Python scripting and automation development
  • Experience with monitoring/observability tools (DataDog preferred)
  • Strong learning agility and ability to quickly adopt new technologies as platform capabilities expand
  • Self-motivated with ability to work productively in remote environment and collaborate with distributed teams
  • Excellent English communication skills for effective collaboration with US-based management and global team members

  Preferred Qualifications & Specializations

  Infrastructure & Cloud Specialization:

  • Multi-cloud experience (AWS + Azure) and cloud migration projects
  • Infrastructure monitoring, cost optimization, and capacity planning
  • Experience with additional cloud platforms (GCP, OCI) and hybrid cloud architectures

  Developer Experience & Tooling Specialization:

  • Internal developer tooling, APIs, or self-service platform development
  • GitOps methodologies and deployment orchestration platforms
  • Developer portal technologies or platform user experience design

  CI/CD & Pipeline Migration Specialization:

  • Jenkins to GitHub Actions migration experience and pipeline conversion
  • Azure DevOps migration and multi-platform CI/CD management
  • Advanced GitHub Actions features, workflow optimization, and custom actions development

  Observability & Operations Specialization:

  • DataDog configuration, dashboard creation, and alert management
  • Familiarity with popular / open-source observability frameworks
  • Application performance monitoring and distributed system troubleshooting
  • Incident response and operational excellence practices

  Security & Compliance Specialization:

  • SonarQube and Snyk integration, configuration, and policy management
  • Security scanning automation and vulnerability management workflows
  • Compliance framework implementation and security baseline automation
