Job Description:

insightsoftware is seeking a driven and detail-oriented communications professional to support the growth and market visibility of our Equity business. As Communications Specialist, reporting to the VP, Corporate Communications, this individual will own analyst relations and public relations strategy and execution for the Equity business unit, while also supporting customer communications. The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of experience in communications, with a strong foundation in media relations, analyst engagement, and storytelling.

What will you do?

  • Own analyst relations and public relations strategy and program direction for the Equity business, including developing briefing plans, identifying story angles, shaping press announcements and contributed content, and setting messaging priorities across both programs.

  • Direct agency execution of AR and PR programs, serving as the day-to-day contact to brief priorities, review outputs, and ensure quality and alignment with brand and messaging standards.

  • Track and report on AR and PR performance for the Equity business, including analyst coverage, media placements, and share of voice, to demonstrate impact and inform program adjustments.

  • Support customer communications for the Equity AIP program, partnering with Customer Success and Marketing to develop messaging and content that keeps customers informed and engaged.

  • Support crisis communications planning and response for the Equity business in coordination with the VP, Corporate Communications and Sr. Corporate Communications Manager.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including Product, Marketing, and Sales to ensure Equity communications are accurate, timely, and aligned to business objectives.

  • Partner with agency and internal stakeholders to ensure communications assets — including press kits, briefing documents, and messaging documents — are current, accurate, and reflect the Equity business narrative.

How will you get it done?

  • Drive & Discipline – ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with a focus on achieving high-quality outputs and results.

  • Growth Mindset – actively pursue new ways of getting things done, AB testing, questioning the status quo.

  • Crispness of Execution – passion for process and an attitude exemplified by creating value for clients and delivering superior financial results.

  • Communication – ability to effectively communicate and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders both orally and in writing.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of communications experience with direct, hands-on work in both public relations and analyst relations.

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Communications, Marketing, or Business.

  • Experience working in or alongside a communications agency strongly preferred.

  • Strong writer with the ability to simplify complex messaging and craft compelling narratives for diverse audiences.

  • Comfortable directing agency partners and managing program workflows across multiple workstreams.

  • Familiarity with analyst relations or media relations processes, including briefing coordination, report tracking, or media monitoring.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Self-starter who is resourceful, proactive, and comfortable working across functions and levels of the organization.

  • Fluent in English. Additional languages are a plus.

  • B2B technology or SaaS experience strongly preferred.
