LSE Park Attendant

An employee in this class performs routine tasks in the upkeep and maintenance of Town park grounds, picnic shelters and restrooms to include opening and closing the parks and restrooms; set up and break down of chairs and tables for recreational activities, and patrolling park trails and facilities to answer questions and ensure safety of park visitors. Employees are subject to hazards in parks maintenance work including working in both inside and outside environments, in extreme hot and cold weather, and exposure to various hazards such as noise, moving mechanical parts, chemicals, atmospheric conditions and oils. Employees may work week day, night or weekend hours. Work is performed under regular supervision and reviewed for timely completion of assignments and public acceptance of work quality.
