LSE Inclusion Counselor

Apex, NC, United States April 18, 2026
The Inclusion Counselor is responsible for providing additional support to campers with disabilities (ages 5-12) during Summer Camps. This role will focus on ensuring campers with disabilities have a positive and inclusive experience by offering tailored accommodations, lowering the camper-to-staff ratio, and providing individualized support to help them thrive in the camp environment. Inclusion counselors do not provide 1:1 support and should engage with the group as a whole while simultaneously supporting specific campers that may require additional support. Inclusion counselors are also expected to actively participate in active/passive games, arts and crafts, food experiences, outdoor activities, and more alongside traditional camp counselors and instructors. This position is supervised by a full-time Recreation Program Specialist. This position begins on June 8, 2026 and runs through mid-August. Hours are limited to 40/week and range Monday through Friday between 7am and 6pm. Inclusion Counselors are expected to be available for 6 of the 7 weeks of summer camp.
