About the role

The low-code engineer sits within EDB's Brand, Marketing and Communications Division, which drives Singapore's positioning as a premier global business destination.

This role requires a highly driven and experienced low-code engineer who can translate business requirements into technical specifications and automation workflows on marketing automation platforms to optimise digital customer journeys and support lead management initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITY

  • Design, build, and deploy marketing automation solutions using Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement to support email campaigns and lead management workflows.
  • Design, build, and deploy email journeys using Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot), including creating and maintaining reusable email templates and modular components with HTML and CSS proficiency, working with copywriters/campaign owners, conducting test sends, and managing email deployment workflows within the marketing automation platform;
  • Create responsive landing pages for marketing campaigns and events using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript;
  • Develop automated workflows and form handlers for lead capture, and segmentation management, ensuring seamless integration with EDB website and other platforms;
  • Work closely with marketing teams and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for marketing automation platforms;
  • Conduct thorough testing of newly solutioned automation workflows to ensure they meet functional and non-functional requirements of business cases;
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for developed marketing automation solutions, including user guides, technical specifications, and support materials;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, IT, and external vendors, to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of marketing technology solutions.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS NEEDED

  • Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology or related disciplines.
  • 2-3 years of experience in application development, with a focus on marketing automation platforms or low-code/no-code solutions;
  • Specialized in Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot) – SFMC / MCAE
  • Proven experience in developing and deploying marketing automation solutions;
  • Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) with specific focus on email template development, landing page creation, and responsive design;
  • Familiarity with APIs and integrations with other enterprise systems, particularly CRM platforms like Salesforce;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills along with excellent
  • communication and interpersonal skills.

Desirable Skill(s)

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot) certification or similar marketing automation platform certifications;
  • Hands-on configuration experience in administration setup and managing low-code product and features, including but not limited to rules engine, workflow, processes logics, data validations screen flows and page layouts with products such as Salesforce, Dynamics 365 etc.
  • Experience with email deliverability best practices and troubleshooting;
  • Knowledge of marketing database management, contact segmentation, and data hygiene practices;
  • Understanding of international data privacy regulations (e.g. GDPR).
