Logistics & Transportation Supervisor 

📍 Honor Foods | Philadelphia, PA |💰 $60,000 – $65,000 per year 

Honor Foods is looking for a Transportation & Logistics Supervisor to help lead our daily distribution operations. This role supervises drivers, dispatchers, and logistics coordinators while ensuring deliveries, freight movement, and customer shipments are completed safely, efficiently, and on time. 

This position is ideal for someone with experience in transportation, logistics, or warehouse distribution who enjoys leading teams, solving operational challenges, and improving processes in a fast-paced environment.  

What You’ll Do 

Transportation Operations 

• Supervise drivers, dispatchers, and logistics team members  

• Monitor delivery routes, schedules, and driver productivity  

• Ensure routes are completed safely and on time  

• Coordinate truck maintenance and operational issues  

• Work closely with warehouse teams to support daily deliveries  

Logistics & Freight Coordination 

• Plan and coordinate outbound shipments and freight  

• Review shipping documents such as bills of lading and shipping notices  

• Communicate with carriers, vendors, and internal teams  

• Track freight costs and identify opportunities for efficiency  

Safety & Compliance 

• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, company policies, and safety standards  

• Maintain accurate driver logs and operational records  

• Support accident investigations and safety initiatives  

Leadership & Team Development 

• Coach, train, and support transportation and logistics team members  

• Lead team meetings and encourage open communication  

• Help improve processes and operational performance  

What We’re Looking For 

✔ Experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain, or distribution operations 
✔ Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred 
✔ Knowledge of DOT regulations and transportation compliance is a plus 
✔ Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills 
✔ Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment 
✔ Strong communication and organizational skills 
✔ Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) . 

✔ Experience with DriveCam, PeopleNet, Zonar, or Warehouse Management Systems is a plus

Work Environment 

This role operates in both office and warehouse environments and may require occasional evenings, weekends, or on-call support depending on operational needs.
