Job Responsibility

Key Deliverables/ Outcomes 

  • Carry out overall departmental logistics operation quality planning
  • Formulate the department's annual quality objectives based on the company's goals and historical quality data and break them down to each sub-team or position.
  • Internal and external quality training within the organization
  • Complete company-level quality enablement training and learning
  • Plan and carry out quality activities in the department (Quality Star, Quality Month, etc.)
  • Plan and carry out quality continuous improvement projects
  • Distribution and closed-loop tracking of EE4 system quality events
  • Carry out quality inspection and audit
  • Conduct retrospective analysis and investigation of quality accident events
Job Requirements

Qualification

  • Bachelor of Engineering or Technology in / Mechanical / Production / Industrial / Logistics.
  • Masters in Operations / Supply Chain Preferred

Experience

  • 10 –12 years in logistics quality / supply chain quality
  • Experience in heavy engineering / wind turbine / large component transport
  • Strong knowledge of Indian highway transport regulations

Technical Skills

  • Root Cause Analysis (8D, 5 Why)
  • FMEA for logistics risk assessment
  • ISO 9001 / QMS systems
  • SAP / ERP logistics modules
  • Transport route engineering knowledge
  • Understanding of wind turbine components (blade, nacelle, hub, tower)
