Logistics Compliance Analyst
We are looking for a highly motivated Logistics Compliance Analyst to support day-to-day operational activities related to part and shipment level compliance requirements. This entry level role focuses on export/import compliance activities in the automotive industry, specifically in the spare parts sector. You will be part of a team that is managing strategic initiatives and continuous improvement efforts across Tesla’s Europe, Middle East & Africa Logistics Team.
- Coordinate EMEA market logistics & documentation requirements per country for all shipments.
- Monitor shipments and deliveries to ensure adherence to processes
- Assist in preparing, reviewing and validating compliance documentation required for shipments
- Track missing or incomplete information/documentation prior to shipment release and work with Master Data team to ensure all required information, especially Country of Origin data, is captured correctly for relevant departments such as Logistics, Trade, Distribution, Material Planning and local government bodies
- Review ERP, WMS, and TMS systems for compliance or information blocks and work with internal customers to resolve these
- Maintain and update compliance related data in internal systems, spreadsheets and databases and generate reports
- Support with coordinating compliance requirements with cross-functional teams and 3rd party service providers
- Escalate risks, delays or any gap to senior team members when necessary
- Support implementation of process updates, system changes or any new requirements
- Research process improvements areas
- Create POs, track, validate and approve service providers’ invoices
- BA/MS degree in supply chain, business, engineering or any other relevant field
- Excellent communication skills and comfortable working across teams
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and to meet strict deadlines
- Excellent organizational, administrative and problem-solving skills and strong attention to details
- Ability to work with ambiguity and in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software packages (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- A passion for logistics and compliance
- Willingness to learn regulations and compliance processes
