About the role:
Role Dimensions
Reporting Line: This role reports directly to the Logistics Manager South LAC.
Scope: Operational oversight of the Peru and Argentina markets.
Role Purpose
This role serves as the operational engine for South LAC across two of our most dynamic markets. You will be responsible for orchestrating the End-to-End (E2E) logistics flow—from product reception at the hub to final mile delivery. We are looking for an execution expert who challenges the "status quo," constantly seeking Cost-to-Serve efficiencies while ensuring every bottle reaches our customers on time and profitably.
Key Responsibilities
E2E Hub & Partner Management: Supervise and audit daily operations at our LSPs (DINET in Peru and Dodero in Argentina). This includes oversight of Warehousing, Picking, and Secondary Transport to ensure seamless execution.
Service Level Excellence: Monitor and drive improvements in key performance indicators: OTD, CFR, and OTIF. You will be responsible for maintaining the Internal Performance Tracker, managing customer-led rescheduling exceptions to ensure operational reality is accurately reflected in global reporting.
VAS & Inventory Integrity: Lead the planning and execution of Value Added Services (VAS). This encompasses tax stamping, local labeling, and Gifting campaigns, ensuring inventory is "retail-ready" and mitigating any risk of Write-offs.
Productivity & Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify and execute savings opportunities. Focus on optimizing the Vehicle Fill Rate (VFR) and aligning customer delivery windows with LSP Operating Days to eliminate surcharges and waste.
Compliance & Governance (CARM): Act as the guardian of CARM controls within the logistics operation. Ensure all inventory movements, documentation, and billing processes strictly adhere to Diageo’s internal control and audit standards.
Experience & Skills Required
Background: 2-4 years of experience in Logistics or Supply Chain within the FMCG industry.
Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to manage third-party logistics providers and collaborate with remote commercial teams.
Technical Proficiency: Advanced user of SAP and Power BI (ability to interpret data and contribute to the evolution of automated dashboards).
Language Skills: Ideally fluency in both English and Spanish, as the role involves frequent interaction with regional and global stakeholders.
Mindset: A continuous improvement mindset with strong analytical skills and a high degree of "ownership" over the E2E process.
Flexibility is key to our success. Talk to us about what flexibility means to you so that you’re supported to manage your wellbeing and balance your priorities from day one.
Our purpose is to celebrate life, every day, everywhere. And creating an inclusive culture, where everyone feels valued and that they can belong, is a crucial part of this.
We embrace diversity in the broadest possible sense. This means that you’ll be welcomed and celebrated for who you are just by being you. You’ll be part of and help build and champion an inclusive culture that celebrates people of different gender, ethnicity, ability, age, sexual orientation, social class, educational backgrounds, experiences, mindsets, and more.
Our ambition is to create the best performing, most trusted and respected consumer products companies in the world. Join us and help transform our business as we take our brands to new heights and build new ones as part of shaping the next generation of celebrations for consumers around the world.
Feel inspired? Then this may be the opportunity for you.
