WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

TeamMember Recruitment, Training, Development and Management Responsibilities:

  • Recruit and/or interview Manager and Supervisor candidates

  • Recruit, hire and train hourly, non-exempt TeamMembers

  • Conduct annual performance appraisal of TeamMembers

  • Provide concise information for Manager appraisals

  • Provide developmental action plans for TeamMembers, when required

  • Conduct disciplinary sessions in accordance with HOB guidelines

  • Ensure appropriate conflict resolution procedures are followed

  • Ensure compliance with HOB Workplace Standards

  • Maintain open communication policy

  • Assist and support TeamMembers in any of their job functions, as needed

Ensuring Optimal Guest Experience

  • Ensure Environment and aesthetic is maintained to HOB standards at all times

  • Oversee and facilitate guest fulfillment and requests

  • Maintain all HOB Standards

  • Oversee revenue center programming and/or late-night activities

  • Oversee execution of Special Events in cooperation with Logistics and Sales Managers

Enhancing Revenue/ Controlling Costs

  • Generates/enhances revenue to meet or exceed budgetary expectations, in conjunction with the General Manager and/or Assistant General Manager

  • Maintain effective cost control systems

  • Control Costs

  • Assist General Manager (GM) and Assistant General Manager (AGM) in preparation of annual budget/planning process; implements approved budgets

  • Responsible for assisting the GM and AGM the creating and implementing Quarterly Operating Plans (QOPs)

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

Required:

  • (State or County Licensee or Certification Requirement)/ Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training Certification or Equivalent

  • 3-5 years high volume experience in fine dining/restaurant/club operations/promotions/programming

  • 2 or more years of operations supervisory or management experience.

  • T.I.P.S. Certified or equivalent (dependent on jurisdictional requirements)

  • Guest relations, customer service

  • Wine & Liquor knowledge

  • Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint familiarity

  • General Point of Sale (POS) system knowledge

  • Basic Accounting

  • P & L statements

  • Purchasing/Receiving

  • Inventory

  • Training

  • High School Diploma required; College degree preferred

Physical Demands/Working Environment:

  • Working environment is fast-paced, loud and stressful

  • Position requires extended periods of prolonged standing and working on your feet

  • Must be able to lift or move up to 25 lbs using proper lifting techniques
