Line Producer
TelevisaUnivision Network News is looking for an experienced Line Producer to support News. This position will be responsible for managing the line production of a daily show, supporting executive producer with production and team management. Editorial contribution is also an essential part of the position.
ABOUT YOU:
- Responsible for daily rundown, story placement, editorial input and writing.
- Executing timing of live shows in control room and making last minute decisions.
- Development and production of daily news graphics.
- Quick reaction to breaking news and possible show news updates
- Work on special news coverage and field coordination.
- Maintain communication with assignment desk, production and technical crews.
- Must be able to back-time show, adjust rundowns effortlessly while on air
YOU HAVE:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Journalism or Communications.
- Minimum 5 years of experience line producing/producing.
- Knowledge of current events
- News writing skills
- Attention to detail, strong communication a must
- Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Fully bilingual English and Spanish
- Excellent Spanish grammar
