Role Overview
We’re hiring an Engineering Manager with strong AI exposure to lead our core engineering team.
This is a player-coach role- you’ll drive architecture, ship product, and build a world-class team alongside the CEO.
Compensation
Cash: ₹48 LPA
Equity: 1% – 5% (meaningful early ownership)
Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performance engineering team
Define and execute the technical roadmap across AI + backend systems
Build and optimize LLM-powered systems (agents, RAG, orchestration)
Own system architecture, scalability, and reliability
Drive fast execution while maintaining high engineering standards
Collaborate closely with product, design, and GTM
Set and track performance metrics (velocity, latency, cost, reliability)
Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
Requirements
3–7 years of engineering experience
Prior experience leading or managing engineers
Strong hands-on experience with AI/LLMs (must-have)
Experience with backend systems (Node.js / Python preferred)
Strong system design and architectural thinking
High ownership, speed, and ability to operate in ambiguity
Excellent communication and leadership skills

Built or scaled AI-native / agentic products
Early-stage startup (0 → 1) experience
Experience with vector DBs, search, or graph systems
