To strengthen our Group Industrial Performance Team based in Limelette, Belgium, we are looking for a talented individual to fill the position of Industrial Performance Junior Specialist (VIE).
About the role
As a Industrial Performance Junior Engineer (VIE), you will report to our Manufacturing Excellence Senior Manager and be part of the Technical & Manufacturing Team. You will be working in a Global Company in a Team having a global scope, in touch and learn many aspects of Lime Manufacturing, from Mining, Processes and Maintenance, contributing to Lhoist Maintenance & Process Excellence programs and exposed to our Global experts while contributing to on-site project.
Your role and responsibilities:
- Maintain & facilitate access to Lhoist Manufacturing documentation. Objective is to guide teams finding proper documentation to help them optimize operating (Process and/or Maintenance).
- Make best use of IT infrastructure and AI capabilities (in partnership with Group IT) to increase access of employees to Lhoist global know-How and support performance.
- Promote usage of collaboration tools published within Communities of Practice (COPs) and stimulate the sharing of good practices (Flashlights)
- Maintain existing performance / benchmarking dashboarding and further develop insights for performance management, retrieving data from SAP (and other) systems.
- Support development of new Performance Dashboards for Electrical Power Consumption
- Support Development of Dashboards/Analytical tools for Emissions Abatement technologies (linked to EU Industrial Emissions Directive).
- Provide insights for performance improvement, using advanced data-analytics tools
- Support the Group Industrial Performance Team in:
- Developing templates – supporting documents for training /onboarding.
- Collecting practices to generate and maintain Practice Heatmaps
- Contributing in Global Webinars preparation
- Support the Group Industrial Performance Team in conducting ad-hoc projects in/with the operations. (e.g. use-case mobility, use-case APC…)
About you:
- You hold a master’s degree in industrial, Process, Chemical, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or relevant fields.
- You are autonomous but also eager to learn from others and develop in the area of process and/or maintenance.
- You are literate in advanced Data analytics and AI solutions
- You have good knowledge of MS Excel and Power BI tools.
- You are pragmatic and enjoys analytical and organizational tasks.
- You are agile, can easily adapt in new environments and situations.
- You can interact with different business units and seniority levels.
- You are a people-oriented person with excellent communication skills (both orally and written).
- Languages: English is a must, French or another language is a plus.
