We are looking for an individual with significant experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts, along with practical experience applying artificial intelligence in a legal or contract-focused context, to support the evolution of Agiloft’s AI capabilities. This role will include developing a deep understanding of our customers’ AI use cases, contributing to the design and refinement of AI-driven workflows and agentic solutions, and conducting structured evaluation and validation to ensure high-quality, reliable outputs. • 3+ years commercial legal experience (law firm, in-house, or legal service provider) or 2+ years of hands-on experience as a legal knowledge engineer or in a similar role.
• JD from an accredited law school is a plus; admission to and in good standing with the bar of at least one U.S. state or Canadian province/territory is an additional plus.
• Extensive experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Experience with prompt engineering, including designing, refining, and validating LLM prompts to produce high-quality, reliable outputs.
• Familiarity with agentic AI concepts or experience working with agentic workflows is a plus.
• Experience with contract management solutions and/or legal operations is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to contribute to cross-functional initiatives spanning legal, product, and technical teams.
• Proven experience in collaborating effectively with peers, including legal knowledge engineers or similar roles.
• Experience working with distributed, global teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and advancements.
• High degree of ownership, independence, and accountability.
• Ability to maintain substantial overlap with Eastern Time Zone working hours.
