Job Description
Hybrid: For this position, it is required to be on site 3 days per week.
What you will do (responsibilities):
Provide legal advice on labor, contractual, and compliance matters.
Manage litigation and general legal claims efficiently, coordinating with external counsel when required.
Develop, implement, and maintain legal policies and procedures to support the Legal function.
Draft and respond to cease-and-desist letters, legal notices, and administrative claims.
Assist and represent the company in hearings before public authorities and regulatory bodies.
Deliver legal trainings and guidance to internal stakeholders.
Manage judicial and extrajudicial payments.
Oversee and maintain legal case management systems for judicial and administrative claims.
Provide legal support to commercial areas and participate in legal projects aimed at improving business policies and processes.
Ensure proper management and control of the Legal department’s budget.
Your skills and abilities (required qualifications):
Bachelor’s degree in Law with at least 3 years of experience.
Proven experience performing similar legal functions.
Strong knowledge of labor law, contracts, and compliance.
Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities in a dynamic environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Fluent English.
What can give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):
Portuguese proficiency is a plus.
Prior experience working with external law firms.
Experience supporting commercial or cross-functional teams.
Strong organizational and budget management skills.
