Lead Power Electronics Engineer
This individual will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing power electronics circuits, platforms, and systems for power conversion and circuit protection applications. -Lead power electronics design and development, taking full ownership of assigned tasks. -Design, model, simulate, and develop power electronics, including analog and digital circuits for power conversion and protection. -Develop technical requirements and create reports and presentations. -Build and test circuits, analyze data, and optimize designs for performance, size, cost, manufacturability, and reliability. -Collaborate with mechanical, PCB layout, and firmware engineers to develop and validate designs. -Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution with minimum 6 years work experience in power electronics designs and product development OR Master's degree in engineering from an accredited institution with minimum 4 years work experience in power electronics designs and product development -Minimum 4 years of experience in power electronics modeling, simulation, and analysis experience using tools like Simulink, SPICE, or PLECS -Minimum 4 years of experience with power converter hardware development and testing -MS or Ph.D. in electrical engineering or equivalent with focus on power electronics. -Strong knowledge of power semiconductors, passive components (e.g., high-frequency magnetics, power capacitors), and analog/digital circuit designs. -Experience with modern converter topologies, including AC/DC, DC/AC, and DC/DC (both non-isolated and isolated). -Thorough understanding of PCB layout, EMC/EMI design practices, voltage clearance/creepage requirements, and insulation/interconnection techniques. -Experience in power electronics system development, including development of power electronics system architecture and requirements Position Criteria: -Self-motivated and goal-oriented individual. -Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and technical documents.
