Lead Maintenance Mechanic - 24267

Overview

We are seeking a Lead Maintenance Mechanic for assignment in The Villages, Florida. The selected candidate will perform preventative and corrective maintenance on water / wastewater treatment plants and related facilities equipment.

Hours are Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm

** This position requires lead or management experience **

Responsibilities

- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on wastewater and potable water treatment equipment

- Lubricate equipment and check for malfunctions

- Replace packing in pumps or valves

- Replace bearings in motors, pumps and other equipment

- Tune engines; set valve clearance; clean and adjust regulators

- Examine equipment failures to identify cause and to prevent recurrences

- Installs and sets up new equipment

Qualifications

- A valid Drivers License

- 2+ years experience in the maintenance and repair of wastewater and potable water treatment equipment

- Lead or management experience
