Overview of the role
We are seeking an experienced and driven Finance Operations Lead to oversee our Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) operations. In leadership role, you will guide a team of 4 finance professionals while ensuring high-quality financial administration, efficient processes, and continuous improvement across our P2P and O2C cycles.
A key part of your time will be dedicated to hands-on AR & AP operations, managing both incoming and outgoing invoice flows and ensuring smooth execution of daily finance activities. You will also act as a team lead, coaching and supporting the team, and driving improvements in the way processes are set up and managed across 3 countries (NL, DE &FR). Experience with OCR tooling is essential, and as we continue to evolve, you’ll have the freedom to shape and enhance our way of working. The ideal candidate combines operational strength with leadership skills and enjoys building scalable, future‑ready processes in a dynamic and growing environment.
Lead, coach, and develop the AP & AR team, ensuring strong performance and collaboration.
Oversee all AP processes, including invoice handling, approvals, vendor management, and payments.
Oversee all AR processes, including billing, collections, and customer account management.
Ensure accurate and timely execution of daily finance operations.
Standardize AP/AR processes across three countries through clear procedures and documentation.
Optimize workflows, including PO processes, to increase efficiency and reduce manual work.
Drive automation and digitalization within AP/AR operations.
Create and maintain KPI dashboards and provide data-driven insights to management.
Safeguard compliance, including tax treatment, internal controls, and accounting standards.
Ensure correct cost allocation and alignment with project administration processes.
