LCA Digital Solution Consultant

India Remote April 16, 2026 Contract

Role description: - a hybrid role that combines the environmental rigor of a Life Cycle Assessment expert with the technical strategy of a Digital Consultant. Hence, to be competitive, the CV must demonstrate a good understanding of both the science of LCA and software architecture.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Building and maintaining complex LCA models for various products and materials using industry-standard software like SimaPro, GaBi, or openLCA.

Ensuring that all studies strictly adhere to international standards, specifically ISO 14040/14044, and support the creation of Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs)

Transforming LCA findings into practical business recommendations in line with company’s business goals and sustainability KPIs

Participating in cross-functional implementation LCA projects from design to delivery, translating business needs into technical specifications for developers and engineers

Building and implementing an integrated, automated LCA systems that deliver actionable insights at scale by using cloud software platform and API integrations

Bridging the gap between stakeholder vision and requirements and technical execution across Cloud, CRM, and Data Analytics ecosystems

Developing AI-driven solutions to speed up LCA and EPD generation

Leading technical and innovative LCA tasks and objectives, conducting research initiatives

Participating in pre-sales activities, creating a Proof of Concept (PoC), solution presentation deck and contributing to the general LCA offering

Qualifications For The Role 

 

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Science or related field – preferably Environmental Science/Technology.

2–5 years of professional experience in conducting LCAs 

Knowledge of the relevant standards applicable in the field of sustainability management and carbon accounting, such as ISO 14040 series, PEF, ISO 14067, GHG Protocol, PAS 2050, etc. 

Hands-on experience with cloud foundations (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud), APIs, data analytics tools (e.g. Databricks, Power BI).

Strong quantitative or technical background with an excellent aptitude for analytical thinking. Natural curiosity to investigate issues, conduct research, design solutions and translate results into business practices.

Basic programming experience will be beneficial.

Good written and spoken communication skills in English.

Strong presentation skills for explaining technical concepts to non-expert audiences.
