We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Processor to join our high-performing team in Costa Rica. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced payroll systems while contributing to process improvements and automation initiatives that drive efficiency and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll computations and prepare information for system input with exceptional accuracy

  • Handle employee inquiries regarding salary deductions and compensation changes with professionalism

  • Maintain comprehensive payroll records and ensure data integrity

  • Create statutory reports and manage third-party payment processes

  • Perform accounting reconciliations for payroll balance sheet accounts

  • Investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies

  • Support automation initiatives including Excel macros and RPA solutions

  • Collaborate with team members to achieve operational excellence

Qualifications:

This position is not eligible for employment-based visa/immigration sponsorship. You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research and relevant previous job and/or internship experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Advanced proficiency in English.

  • Bachelor’s degree Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Accounting, Systems or similar

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ months of experience with:

    • Workday knowledge and automation experience

    • Payroll experience

    • Business Process Management Knowledge
