Labourer (Concrete Experience)

The Labourer is required to perform tasks involving physical labour at commercial construction projects, and to operate a variety of hand and power tools.

• 1–2 years of experience in concrete construction, formwork, or general labour preferred.
• Ability to assist with setting up and stripping formwork, placing and finishing concrete, and cleaning tools and equipment.
• Capable of measuring, cutting, and handling materials such as lumber, plywood, rebar, and form hardware.
• Assist in setting up and stripping concrete formwork for footings, walls, slabs, cores and columns.
• Help with placing, vibrating, and finishing concrete under supervision.
• Work collaboratively with formwork carpenters, equipment operators, and supervisors.
• As the last step in the recruitment process, selected candidates will be required to undergo a pre-employment physical testing screen to assess their ability to perform the essential functions of the job. This step ensures a safe and effective work environment for all employees.
