Laboratory Technician
General Duties Overview
- Demonstrates and promotes the company's visions.
- Regular attendance and punctuality
- Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate.
- Learns to conduct routine analyses in compliance with applicable methods, protocols, SOPs, and regulatory agency guidelines.
- Learns how to document work and maintain study documentation and laboratory records.
- Learns how to use laboratory equipment and software appropriate for assigned tasks.
- Attends and participates in project meetings.
- Learns to perform peer review of data.

- Interacts with operational personnel, scientific personnel, and department management.
- Expected to understand the process for handling hazardous wastes and receive on-the-job training for handling specific waste types in their job area.
- Will be exposed to potential food allergens (ex. Milk, tree nuts, peanuts, fish, shellfish, etc.).
- Overtime and weekend work as required.
- Work requires some standing and sitting for long periods of time, including working within a laboratory hood and standing at a bench top.
- Work requires the use of PPE (personal protective equipment).

Minimum Educational Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum Qualifications:
- Requires no prior lab experience
- New to the clinical laboratory testing environment
- Strong Communication Skills and analytical skills
- Ability to problem solve
- Having the ability to adapt, in a fast-paced environment
- Able to lift 30 pounds and be on feet for a portion of the day

- This laboratory carefully maintains all hazardous materials. All employees must abide by Eurofins CellTX’s Safety and Exposure procedures. This includes using the provided safety clothing and equipment.
