  • Learns how to use laboratory equipment and software appropriate for assigned tasks.

Continued

  • Interacts with operational personnel, scientific personnel, and department management.
  • Expected to understand the process for handling hazardous wastes and receive on-the-job training for handling specific waste types in their job area.
  • Will be exposed to potential food allergens (ex. Milk, tree nuts, peanuts, fish, shellfish, etc.).
  • Overtime and weekend work as required.
  • Work requires some standing and sitting for long periods of time, including working within a laboratory hood and standing at a bench top.
  • Work requires the use of PPE (personal protective equipment).

Will be exposed to potential food allergens.

Minimum Educational Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires no prior lab experience
  • New to the clinical laboratory testing environment
  • Strong Communication Skills and analytical skills
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Having the ability to adapt, in a fast-paced environment 
  • Able to lift 30 pounds and be on feet for a portion of the day

  • This laboratory carefully maintains all hazardous materials.  All employees must abide by Eurofins CellTX’s Safety and Exposure procedures.  This includes using the provided safety clothing and equipment.
