(Laboratory) Automation Specialist (80 – 100 %)
 
 
Do you have experience programming liquid handling robots? Are you familiar with transferring immunoassays or chromatographic methods to automated platforms?

If so, we invite you to join our small team of experts dedicated to automating bioanalytical assays using Hamilton and Tecan systems.

In this role, you will program liquid handling robots using Hamilton VENUS and Tecan EVOware, regularly assess robot performance (PQ testing), and work closely with scientists and laboratory operators to ensure reliable, high-throughput automated workflows. Your contribution will be essential to improving assay performance and throughput and to maintaining Celerion’s competitive position.

Your tasks

  • Your primary tasks would consist of programming using the VENUS and EVOware software, as well as regularly assessing our robots’ performance.
  • As part of our team, you will become a key component to successfully use the robots to improve the performance and throughput of our assays, and you will help Celerion maintain its competitive position in the market
  • Our requirement

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a life-science discipline (e.g. Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology). (Please note: this role targets a life-science background; engineering degrees are not the intended profile)
  • Solid understanding of immunoassays and/or chromatographic methods
  • At least 1 year of experience supporting automated workflows in a regulated laboratory environment (Hamilton VENUS expericence strongly preferred)
  • Good written and spoken German

  • Highly collaborative and service-oriented mindset
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach
  • Structured, detail-oriented, and quality-focused
  • Able to balance development work with operational support
