As a Key Account Manager, you will play a key role in driving growth across our European Home Care business (Fabric and Home Care categories). You will collaborate with passionate experts across functions; internally and externally - from Marketing and R&D to Fragrance Development and Consumer Insights - to identify new opportunities and deliver meaningful innovations that bring value to our customers and consumers.

The role is based in Argenteuil and reports to the Global Business Director.

 

 

In this exciting role, you will

  • Lead and coordinate projects across Europe for key account brands across Fabric and Home Care categories.
  • Build trusted partnerships with client fragrance management, R&D, and Consumer Market Insight teams.
  • Grow Givaudan’s European business by managing both top and bottom lines effectively.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional internal partners in Europe and across our global network.
  • Develop and execute Strategic Account Plans to retain business and drive growth in emerging categories.
  • Create and deliver inspiring presentations and events that spark new ideas and business opportunities.
  • Monitor customer and competitor activity to gain access to strategic briefs.
  • Ensure customer needs are met through timely and high-quality follow-up on submissions.
  • Track key performance indicators (sales, profit, win rate, service levels) to drive sustainable growth.

Your Profile

  • University degree (or equivalent).
  • 4–7 years of overall experience, including at least 1 year in the fragrance, consumer goods, or Home Care industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong collaborative mindset.
  • Proven project management experience, handling multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
  • Understanding of customer and industry regulatory requirements and technical specifications.
  • Creative, global mindset with a passion for fragrance, innovation, and consumer trends.
  • Competent olfactive knowledge and familiarity with perfumery language.
  • Strong ability to build trust and foster mutual growth with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Thrives in dynamic settings, demonstrating strong organization and adaptability
  • Adaptable to complex and evolving environments.
  • Ambitious to grow and develop within Givaudan.
  • Fluent in English; French is a plus.
