Internship Summary As an IT Business Process Intern, you’ll gain a behind-the-scenes look at how our business operates. You’ll rotate across multiple functions to learn how teams work together and help document key workflows that keep our organization running smoothly. Your primary project will focus on mapping and improving business processes — creating clear, structured visuals that show how work moves across departments, systems, and decision points. Your work will help teams operate more efficiently and effectively. What You’ll Gain · Ownership of a high-impact project you can complete and showcase in 8–10 weeks · Hands-on exposure to multiple business functions and end-to-end workflows · Mentorship from experienced professionals across departments · Real cross-functional collaboration experience · Practical experience in process mapping, systems thinking, and continuous improvement · The opportunity to present your work and recommendations to leadership · A strong resume-building experience with measurable outcomes Responsibilities Lead a defined project from start to finish Conduct stakeholder meetings to learn how their work gets done For Order-to-Cash business functions, create: Level 2 process maps (big-picture, cross-functional workflows) Level 3 process maps (detailed steps, decision points, systems, and responsibilities) Analyze processes to identify gaps and improvement opportunities, evaluating where digitization or automation could bring value Partner with subject matter experts to validate your findings Organize and maintain clear documentation Present your completed work and insights to team members and leaders Support additional team initiatives as needed
